Your Basketball Film Link Needs Maintenance During the Season
A film link is easy to share and easy to forget. Weeks later, the same link may still lead a viewer to an old team, a restricted folder or a highlight labeled for the wrong season.
Build a small maintenance routine around the links you actually send. Check the destination, player identification and sharing permissions. Keep highlights and full games clearly separated so the viewer knows what they are opening.
Update with a reason
New footage should add useful information rather than simply make the collection longer. Label the opponent and game date when verified. Keep any supporting statistics tied to their source and time period.
If a link changes, update the profiles and messages under your control. Do not assume that fixing one recruiting page updates every other place where the film appears. A simple private list of shared destinations can help the family keep track.
For Ohio basketball families, this is ordinary housekeeping rather than a recruiting shortcut. It makes the material easier to use when someone does open it. The player still supplies the basketball; the link should make that basketball straightforward to find.
