Klarke Ransome’s next coaching chapter is underway at Ohio Dominican. The university announced him as its head women’s basketball coach on May 26, 2026, bringing a successful Central Ohio high school coach into NCAA Division II basketball.
A new team and a new level of competition
The official 2026–27 roster lists Ransome as head coach and Macy Blankenship as assistant coach. Its player group includes seniors Jazmyn Wheeler, Jenna Shackleford and Meghan Mayotte, with underclassmen providing another part of the roster.
Marysville graduate Allison Price is also listed as a sophomore guard following a Huntington University background. That gives local readers another player connection to follow within the Panthers’ current roster, without assuming her role or playing time.
College coaching adds new responsibilities in recruiting, roster development and competition. The exciting part of this move is the opportunity to see how Ransome’s experience translates with this particular group.
This is an opening-season outlook, not a report of wins under his new leadership. As of October 14, 2026, the focus is on the staff and roster in place for his first Ohio Dominican campaign—and on the next chapter still to be written.
