Week 10 Central Ohio High School Football Recap: Marysville Wins and Punches Its Ticket — Monarchs Defeat Hilliard Darby 35–14

October 24, 2025 — Marysville, OHOn a night when the stakes could not have been higher, the Marysville Monarchs delivered their most complete performance of the season, defeating Hilliard Darby 35–14 to finish the regular season at 5–5 and secure their spot in the OHSAA playoffs.

With a “win and get in” scenario in front of them, the Monarchs rose to the moment behind a dominant rushing attack, a fast-starting offense, and a defense that swarmed from the opening whistle to the final play.

The home crowd at IMPACT Stadium felt it, too — a playoff-style atmosphere where Marysville fed off the energy and never looked back.

Game Summary

Marysville controlled the tone physically, piling up 268 rushing yards and scoring four touchdowns on the ground. Senior leader JJ Henry set the pace with over 120 yards and three touchdowns, while juniors Brady Carper, Colin Wimmers, and senior Brock Powers all delivered complementary production.

Defensively, the Monarchs totaled 61 tackles and 9 tackles for loss, bottling up Darby’s run game and keeping their offense in long-yardage situations all night.
