Gavin Betts Delivered Two Hits and Two RBI Against Olentangy Berlin in 2024

Gavin Betts contributed two hits and two RBI in Marysville's 12–11 loss to Olentangy Berlin on May 1, 2024, according to Steve Blackledge's game report for Press Pros Magazine.

It was a competitive setting for the young Monarch. Berlin entered ranked third in the state coaches' poll, while Marysville was ranked 13th. Betts helped an offense that stayed close enough to threaten in the final inning.

The result went Berlin's way, but Betts' production is a useful individual marker in his high school career: multiple hits and multiple runs driven in against a highly regarded opponent.

This retrospective records that specific performance rather than treating it as a season total. It is one documented example of Betts contributing in a demanding varsity matchup.
