Coach Dustin Wade Gives Marysville Baseball a Familiar Foundation and a Positive Future
Updated: 19 hours ago
Marysville, Ohio • Baseball season retrospective • Researched October 14, 2026
Dustin Wade’s move into Marysville’s varsity baseball head-coaching role brought a familiar program connection to a new responsibility. He succeeded Nick Blake after previously serving as a Marysville assistant, with the change documented ahead of the 2026 season.

A season contribution worth recognizing
That familiarity gives Wolfe Sports a reason for a positive outlook. A coach who already knows a program has a useful starting point for teaching expectations, supporting players and building continuity. The opportunity now is to turn that foundation into steady development.
The 2026 preseason staff included John Melish, Blake Storr, Jack Christian and Chuck Gould. Marysville’s public season page lists an 11–14–1 overall finish and an 8–7 conference record. The spring also produced individual achievements, including Mason Springs’ first-team conference and district recognition.
Wolfe Sports outlook
The next chapter should be judged through the daily work: clearer roles, stronger preparation and players progressing over time. Those are Wolfe Sports’ editorial priorities for the program’s future, rather than promises of a particular win total. We are glad to recognize Wade’s leadership and support a positive direction for Marysville baseball.
