Division 1 Ohio High School Basketball Rankings: Marysville High School Ranked 53rd overall.

The latest Ohio Division 1 high school basketball rankings have Marysville Boys Basketball checking in at No. 53 in the state, a reflection of both their challenging schedule and the high level of basketball they’ve played throughout the season.

Marysville has faced one of the toughest schedules in Central Ohio, competing night after night against quality Division 1 opponents. Several one-possession losses could have easily gone the other way, and those close games have helped shape a team that is battle-tested, resilient, and continuing to improve as the season progresses. As tournament play approaches, Marysville is proving to be a program no one will want to see on their bracket.

Veteran Leadership at the Top is so good it should increase their high school basketball rankings.

The Monarchs are led by senior guard Cole Brewer (Class of 2026), a Top 100 player in Ohio who continues to draw attention from multiple college programs. Brewer is a proven scorer who can create his own shot, make plays for teammates, and compete on both ends of the floor. His leadership, experience, and ability to deliver in big moments have set the tone for Marysville all season.

A Dangerous Big Three

While Brewer anchors the team, Marysville’s strength lies in a dynamic Big Three that gives them one of the most balanced lineups in the conference:

  • Cole Brewer (2026) – A versatile, high-IQ guard who can score at all three levels and take over late-game possessions.

  • Brennan Adkins (2026) – One of the top point guards in Central Ohio, Adkins controls the tempo, facilitates the offense, and consistently puts teammates in positions to succeed.

  • Kellen Carter (2029) – A highly skilled freshman with a Luka Dončić–style game, Carter’s shooting ability, confidence, and feel for the game have already made him a major impact player in conference play.

Depth, Coaching, and Tournament Experience

Beyond the star power, Marysville features a strong supporting cast that embraces their roles and contributes on both ends of the floor. This depth allows the Monarchs to maintain intensity, defend at a high level, and adjust to different styles of play.

Equally important is a coaching staff with extensive tournament experience, including multiple district titles and deep postseason runs. That experience shows in close games, late-game execution, and the team’s overall composure. Marysville continues to grow together, improving daily as chemistry strengthens and confidence builds.

Trending Up at the Right Time

Despite a record that doesn’t fully capture their potential, Marysville has shown steady improvement throughout the season. Ranked 53rd in Ohio Division 1, the Monarchs are tournament-tested, well-coached, and getting better together every day.

As postseason play approaches, Marysville Boys Basketball is shaping up to be one of the toughest outs in the tournament, with the talent, depth, and experience to make a serious run when it matters most. 🏀🔥
