Marysville has faced one of the toughest schedules in Central Ohio, competing night after night against quality Division 1 opponents. Several one-possession losses could have easily gone the other way, and those close games have helped shape a team that is battle-tested, resilient, and continuing to improve as the season progresses. As tournament play approaches, Marysville is proving to be a program no one will want to see on their bracket.

Veteran Leadership at the Top is so good it should increase their high school basketball rankings.
The Monarchs are led by senior guard Cole Brewer (Class of 2026), a Top 100 player in Ohio who continues to draw attention from multiple college programs. Brewer is a proven scorer who can create his own shot, make plays for teammates, and compete on both ends of the floor. His leadership, experience, and ability to deliver in big moments have set the tone for Marysville all season.

While Brewer anchors the team, Marysville’s strength lies in a dynamic Big Three that gives them one of the most balanced lineups in the conference:
Cole Brewer (2026) – A versatile, high-IQ guard who can score at all three levels and take over late-game possessions.
Brennan Adkins (2026) – One of the top point guards in Central Ohio, Adkins controls the tempo, facilitates the offense, and consistently puts teammates in positions to succeed.
