Cole Brewer: The Next Chapter at Mount Vernon Nazarene
Updated: 2 days ago
Our May 26 congratulations celebrated Cole Brewer's next basketball step after Marysville High School. Mount Vernon Nazarene's official 2026–27 roster now provides a current record of that chapter.
A verified college roster
MVNU lists Brewer as a freshman guard/forward from Marysville. Its athletics site identifies the program with the NAIA and Crossroads League, so the original source's later description of this destination as NCAA Division II should not be repeated.
Connect the chapters
Brewer's high school coverage remains useful as a dated record of performances and development. The college roster supplies the next setting; future game reports will explain his role and results there.
Following an athlete across levels works best when each season stays clearly identified. A high school honor and a college performance belong to different records.
