Keller Leads All Scorers with 28 Points
Marysville was led by Tayte Keller, who delivered a standout performance with 28 points. Keller’s offensive efficiency and ability to control the pace were central to the Monarchs’ early momentum. He continues to emerge as one of the top young talents in the region, combining scoring ability with composure and on-court leadership.
Zabloudil Dominates the Paint
Alongside Keller’s scoring output, Vinnie Zabloudil had a monster night of his own, finishing with 20 points and 17 rebounds. His presence on the glass and ability to finish inside gave Marysville a consistent advantage throughout the contest.
A High-IQ, Team-Oriented Roster
While Keller led the scoring, Marysville’s strength remains rooted in its balanced roster and team-first approach. The Class of 2030 group features a cohesive lineup of high-IQ, fundamentally sound, and highly skilled players. Their unselfish ball movement, defensive communication, and disciplined shot selection were evident throughout the game.
This roster’s depth and collective basketball instinct allow Marysville to play an efficient and connected brand of basketball rarely seen at the middle school level.
Building on Last Season’s Standard
The Monarchs enter this season with elevated expectations following a remarkable 19–1 record last year, with their only loss occurring in the Final Four of the D1 Central Ohio Bracket. That postseason run showcased the team’s resilience and talent, and the returning group appears equally motivated to contend for championships once again.
Their season-opening performance reinforces the idea that this class has both the individual ability and the collective mindset required to remain among Central Ohio’s top programs.
Upcoming Exhibition Finale
Marysville will conclude exhibition play by hosting Olentangy Berkshire tonight (11/13) at 6 PM. The matchup provides an early opportunity to further refine rotations, evaluate progress, and continue establishing the identity that has defined this group over the past two seasons.
With demonstrated skill, strong leadership, and an unwavering team-first philosophy, the Marysville Bunsold Class of 2030 Basketball team enters the season with confidence and clear ambition.
