September 19, 2025 — Hilliard, OH Marysville traveled to Hilliard Davidson for a Week 5 non-league matchup and battled in a physical defensive contest, but ultimately fell 22–7 to the Wildcats. With the loss, the Monarchs move to 2–3 on the season, while Davidson improves to 4–1, solidifying their status as one of Central Ohio’s strongest Division I teams.
Despite the score, Marysville delivered gritty stretches on both sides of the ball, including standout performances from its senior leaders and emerging junior core.
Game Summary
Hilliard Davidson controlled the tempo with its traditional power-run approach, combining clock management with methodical drives. Marysville’s defense held strong through much of the night, forcing multiple stops and limiting explosive plays, but Davidson capitalized on key red-zone opportunities.
