Marion Harding faced an unbeaten opponent Friday, October 2, and continued finding ways to compete through the final minute of a 27–12 loss to Ontario.
The Presidents moved to 4–3 overall and 2–2 in MOAC play. Ontario improved to 7–0 and 4–0 in the conference.
Harding received a second-quarter rushing touchdown from Mattic Simmers. Marcus McGary provided 65 rushing yards on 15 carries, while quarterback Cordez “Dez” Feliciano connected with Reggie Walker for a 43-yard touchdown with 18 seconds remaining.
Those contributions gave the Presidents positives to carry forward. Their defense also kept Ontario from scoring through much of the second half before a late touchdown with 2:29 left.
Senior Talan Wolford remains part of Harding's receiver and defensive-back group. His current roster lists him as a Class of 2027 WR/DB, a role that offers opportunities to contribute on both sides of the ball. A verified individual statistical line for Wolford against Ontario was not available in the reviewed report.
