Stories like Foxy's are exactly the kind of stories Wolfe Sports wants to tell. High school sports brings people together, and the people who keep a program going deserve to have their contributions remembered.

In Marysville, Larry 'Foxy' Fox is one example of a longtime connection to school athletics. His story opens the door to others: equipment managers, team managers, volunteers, longtime assistants, scorekeepers, announcers, bus drivers, and community members whose work has helped athletes enjoy their seasons.

We want to hear about the person you still remember years later. Who made you feel welcome? Who helped solve a problem before a game? Who taught a lesson that carried into adulthood? Who kept coming back because the school and its students mattered to them?

A useful submission does not need to be polished. Send the person's name, school, role, approximate years of involvement, and a specific memory. Explain what they did and why it mattered. Include a way for us to follow up and any public sources that can help confirm the details.

You can also share photos that you own or have permission to submit. Tell us who appears in each image, the approximate date, and who should receive photo credit.

Email info@wolfesportsrecruiting.com with the subject 'Community Sports Story.' We welcome stories from Marysville and across Ohio. Our goal is to give the people behind these programs thoughtful coverage alongside the players and teams.

These stories are part of the history of high school sports. Help us find them, verify them, and tell them well.
