Noah Bruns 2026–27: A Scorer's Next Chapter Beside Another Proven Creator
Noah Bruns' All-Ohio recognition gives Berlin an established scoring story. The Bears' district final adds another layer: a teammate delivered the biggest scoring total on their championship night.

Keep the scoring figure attached to its source
The official 2026 All-Ohio release lists Bruns as a 6-foot-3 junior averaging 21.2 points and receiving Division I honorable mention. The OCC workbook places him on the Cardinal Division first team.
Earlier Wolfe Sports team research used a 20.4-point figure from a different reporting set. This feature uses the state awards figure as labeled. Neither number should be presented as a new-season average or combined with another sample to manufacture a more complete line.
Berlin's title night widened the team story
In the Bears' 60–51 district-final win over Westland, the contemporary Press Pros report credits sophomore Luca Filia with 29 points, four assists and four steals. Berlin won its first district championship.
That game is useful context for Bruns' outlook because a team with another recognized creator can present different problems for an opponent. The next season's question is how those opportunities connect, rather than which player must lead every box score.

Watch the decisions when attention changes
A player with an established scoring record gives defenses a reason to prepare. What matters next is the response when a preferred opportunity becomes difficult: the pass to an available teammate, movement into another useful area or a patient continuation of the possession.
Those are things to watch in actual games, not scouting claims made from an awards list. The class records identify players with remaining high school years; the current school roster controls participation.
Berlin's run ended with a regional loss to Lakota West. The district breakthrough remains a meaningful achievement, while that later game supplies another standard for the program.
Bruns' next chapter is therefore both individual and shared. His prior scoring is documented. The deeper story will be how the current Bears use multiple threats to create dependable offense when an opponent has prepared to make the first option uncomfortable.
