Myles Forrester: The Point Guard Who Kept Bunsold Connected
Updated: 2 days ago
A point guard’s job description is longer than the box score. Somebody has to get five people reading the same page.
In Lloyd Wolfe’s end-of-season notes from Bunsold’s 2024–25 eighth-grade season, Myles Forrester stood out as a captain, distributor, defender, and dependable leader. The championship recap credits him with 10 points and eight assists in the 40–29 win over UA Jones.
The useful evaluation lesson is how those responsibilities overlap. Breaking pressure matters. So does knowing when to move the ball, when to attack, and when teammates need direction.
This is a historical coaching perspective, not a claim about his current measurements or recruitment. For young guards watching the archived games, follow Myles when he does not shoot. Organization, rebounding, and communication still count.
