Foxy's Hall of Fame Recognition Gives Marysville Another Story to Preserve
Updated: 2 days ago
Larry 'Foxy' Fox has a documented place in Marysville's athletic history. The Marysville High School Athletic Hall of Fame lists him as a coach in the Class of 2008, recognizing a connection to the program that extends across many years.
His recognition also reached the conference level. The Marysville school district publicly announced his induction into the Ohio Capital Conference Hall of Fame, and the Journal-Tribune previewed that honor in January 2022.
Those honors create a starting point for a larger community story. Awards tell us that a contribution was recognized. Former players and coworkers can help explain what that contribution felt like in everyday life.
For Wolfe Sports, that is where this coverage can grow. We want to hear about a lesson that stayed with someone, a moment of encouragement, a demanding standard that made a difference, or a simple act of help that a player never forgot.
We are inviting Marysville alumni and families to share specific memories of Foxy. Include your sport and the approximate year, explain the moment in your own words, and let us know whether you are comfortable having your name included.
Send submissions to info@wolfesportsrecruiting.com. We will check the details before using them in future coverage. Recognizing a person is meaningful; preserving the stories behind that recognition helps the next generation understand why.
