Drew Chaffin

Chaffin is a 6’3 guard with good length, a smooth release, and a confident, repeatable shooting stroke that immediately changes how defenses have to guard Marysville.

After spending much of his time battling through injuries, Chaffin is finally healthy — and that alone has already made a noticeable difference in his presence and confidence on the floor. With his body feeling right again, his movement, balance, and rhythm have all come back, allowing his natural skill and feel for the game to show more consistently.

Chaffin brings valuable size on the perimeter, giving the staff flexibility in matchups while adding another reliable floor spacer to the lineup. He understands how to play within the flow of the offense, stays ready when his number is called, and has the ability to knock down shots in key moments. His length also allows him to compete defensively and disrupt passing lanes, providing more than just scoring value.

With a full and healthy season ahead of him, Chaffin now has the opportunity to truly show the impact he can make on both ends of the floor. As his confidence continues to grow and his role expands, he is positioned to become a steady and important piece for this group — one whose best basketball is still in front of him.
