Dawson Taylor - gives Marysville a true interior presence with his 6’8 frame, soft touch, and steadily developing skill set around the basket.

After returning from injury at the start of the season, Taylor is still working his way back into full game shape, but the impact of his size is already clear. He provides a much-needed physical dimension in the paint, creates space for teammates, and gives Marysville a different look on both ends of the floor simply by being on the court. As his conditioning and timing continue to improve, his confidence around the rim and comfort within the offense have started to grow right along with it.

Taylor shows good feel inside, finishes well when given opportunities, and continues to improve as a screener and interior option. Defensively, his length allows him to alter shots, protect the lane, and help anchor the back line — something that becomes increasingly important as the competition tightens and possessions matter more.

With more games under his belt and his body continuing to respond, Taylor’s role is expected to expand as the season moves forward. His presence gives Marysville an important frontcourt balance, and as the team pushes through conference play and toward the district tournament, Dawson Taylor is positioned to become a steady and valuable piece for a group looking to make a strong late-season run.
