The Marysville Bunsold Class of 2029 Boys Basketball Team wrapped up their season in unforgettable fashion, delivering a dominant 65–20 victory over Finland Middle School. It was the perfect ending to an incredible season, as every player contributed on both ends of the floor, showcasing the depth, teamwork, and energy that have defined this special group all year long.

Drew Carper led all scorers with 11 points, setting the tone early with confident shooting and strong drives to the basket. Turner Smith continued his hot streak, recording his third straight 10-point game, showing consistency and leadership on offense.

It was also a night to remember for the birthday duo—Brody Fowler and Landon Ice—who celebrated in style with 7 points and 6 points, respectively. Their energy helped fuel the Monarchs’ fast-paced attack throughout the night.

Henry Brown and Kale Strickland were dominant on both ends, combining for 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 steals, controlling the paint and setting the tone defensively. The Koski brothers made the most of their minutes together, combining for 10 points, while Noah Koski filled the stat sheet with 5 assists and 5 steals, running the floor with confidence and vision.

From deep, Nathan, Landon Will, and Kaden Shook each knocked down four three-pointers, providing instant offense and spreading the floor for their teammates.

And, as always, AJ Gratz did the dirty work down low, cleaning up the glass with 12 rebounds and 5 points, bringing his trademark toughness and hustle that has anchored this team all season.

With this emphatic win, the Monarchs finish the year 15–5, and their total middle school record now stands at an impressive 40–15.

This group has been nothing short of special—defined by hard work, teamwork, and a relentless drive to improve. The future is bright for these young Monarchs, and the entire Marysville community couldn’t be prouder.

💙🏀 Congratulations to the Class of 2029 Monarchs on an incredible season—your best is still yet to come!
