Marysville's Collin Burris is drawing college attention at a position where much of the work happens away from the highlight reel.
The Class of 2028 offensive tackle is listed at 6-foot-5 and has offers recorded from programs including Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Virginia Tech. His recruiting profile remains uncommitted.
That interest provides a strong reason to follow his development, but the most useful coverage will still center on his football. For an offensive lineman, complete possessions can show technique, movement and consistency more clearly than a collection of isolated blocks.
Marysville's October 2 game ended in a 31–8 loss to Olentangy. The Monarchs responded after halftime, and their offense produced a long touchdown reception while continuing to work multiple quarterbacks into the game. Individual blocking grades or a verified pancake total for Burris were not published in the sources reviewed.
The team now turns toward a home matchup with Thomas Worthington on October 9. For Burris, each new game provides more varsity film and another opportunity to demonstrate progress against an opponent who can study his earlier performances.
His story offers Wolfe Sports an opportunity to recognize a player whose contributions can be overlooked in score-focused coverage. The college offers establish the recruiting interest; the next stage of the spotlight is showing the work that makes an offensive tackle valuable to his team.
