Braylon Settelmayer Gives Goshen a Returning Senior Guard to Watch
Updated: 15 hours ago
Goshen • Class of 2027 • Cincinnati-area boys basketball • 2026–27
Braylon Settelmayer gives Goshen an experienced returning guard as the program develops its next team. His junior season earned first-team SBAAC recognition and Southwest District honorable mention.
A Cincinnati basketball story to follow
Settelmayer's junior recognition supplies a solid foundation, and his public recruiting account now includes scholarship-offer announcements from Hanover and Mount St. Joseph. A Prep Hoops evaluation from the 2025 fall league also highlighted his ability to get into the lane and finish with either hand. That was a dated evaluation from a particular setting, while the league honor describes the school season that followed.
The recruiting updates give the senior outlook another point of interest without replacing the school-season focus. An offer is a documented opportunity, while the coming games remain their own test. Settelmayer's next contribution to Goshen will be judged through the guard responsibilities and new combinations that develop across the winter.

Wolfe Sports outlook
Goshen moves forward after senior interior standout Tyler Owens' graduation and Graham Roark's reported departure. Watch how Settelmayer helps the next group organize its scoring opportunities and build new combinations. A senior guard can become especially valuable when unfamiliar lineups need a clear first decision and a dependable next outlet. His previous recognition gives that coming-season story a strong foundation.
